I sold all of Apu for 10k that would be worth 600k right now

I put that 10k into another project which has gone DOWN 50% since

How can I avoid making this mistake in the future? Or is it just all pure luck?


I didn’t even get fudded into selling Apu, I just saw another opportunity and went for it, it wasn’t even a decision made in fear or greed, it was just me thinking this other memecoin had a better chance of going up in the next few weeks

So basically went 6k to 10k in Apu, sold, bought 10k worth of Shiv, now have 5k

The 10k I sold in Apu if I had just left it would be 600k+ now


The only positive thing I can think of is my Shiv stack is 3X larger than my Apu stack was in terms of the total supply of the coin. So Shiv only needs to pump 1/3rd the price of Apu for me to see similar gains.

Wrong strategy. Because you were all in, you felt compelled to pull out after only 60% profit. This means you've barely made any ground, and no longer are on board with a moonbag.
You need to invest smaller amounts so you feel comfortable letting it ride till 4x, then taking out double your initial and leaving the rest long term.
Getting in very early is important. Buy below 1 million mc, below 100k if possible.
It helps to pay attention to new coins appearing on here. I noticed something different about APU in the first thread, mainly that he was giving away actual ETH for gas. And his website looked homemade but good. So I bought $600 worth at 70k cap. I've sold most of that but still keep a moonbag.
