I like when the big red letters come through the mailbox. Wife gets scared, kids tell their friends we're poor (hence they get invited out by other parents all the time), we "can't afford" moving into a bigger house in a fancier suburb and will never have to buy all the expensive clutter for, no one ever expects anything of me and even the government thinks I'm useless and throws benefits at me so everything is cheaper and easier.

If you have good quality credit you can just balance transfer debts onto a 0% apr card and buy treasuries while paying off the minimum and net exceptional yield. I am consolidating some debts onto a 0% apr card and going to essentially receive 13% yield on it since one of them was an 9.61% loan I took out. Next year I am going to open a new credit line.. do the same with my car and turn a 4% apr car loan into 6% yield premium.
