i used to get interviews off of indeed some years ago but no bites lately even with a strong resume. i keep hearing linkedin is an option but it's just too privacy violating for me to suffer it. as for networking/nepotism, its legit as the only way i know that people got a job recently is because they know someone.

Modern recruiting is a failure because it hires so many retarded roasties. In the last six months I had
-shaniqua who stopped responding to my messages and then her boss Mr. Boomer sent me a message saying she was fired (lol)

Why am I commuting for 25/hr when the hispanic boss that has no clue what the actual laws are is wfh 2000 miles away? The entire system is broken to fuck and taken advantage by idiots who can't work and boomers who are too jewish to realize why this is a bad system.

This is on top of being randomly ghosted, then getting my phone blown up at midnight because they desperately need help to finish their contract because they were too dumb to hire enough workers thinking they didn't need me.

They're always so dumb, so arrogant and then they fall and I'm sick of it.

in my experience as a tradie, a lot of places don't advertise that they are looking for employees even if they are willing to hire. So you should try calling directly to places you think you could work in. Emails can work too but phonecalls are a lot better. The boomer advice is unironically good

I went to a top 3 (probably #1 school for CS ), got a respectiable masters and cant find a job right now. Well i could but not a remote one which. Im moving permanantly in the fall so then ill look for in person, and ive floated apps for in person roles and its also brutal but i got responses.
If you are below 5 years experience right now its rough out there
so many people laid off in the past year looking for work, and the companies have their DEI policies.
Always check 2 or more races, hispanic (and claim lineage from Spain if asked..) any other boxes, LGB, etc. abuse their system.
DO NOT lie about being a veteran or disabled.
But the identity questions are about how you feel, and they have shown in court a man can feel like a woman and that is okay.
So you feel how you want when checking those boxes.
