Why do people here recommend trades? Aren't those what you do when you have no other options? It basically is just wrecking your body if you do it for more than 5 years. Just churning your body down into cash

Sewer work is no fun. The roaches I can handle. The rats I can handle. It's those damn sewer garloids that bother me. Those things are lethal.

Really depends on the trade. I have a skilled labor job and it pays really well and I don't work very hard. Very comfy job.

What are the best trades to minimize labor? If heard painting isn't bad but your knees will be fucked by 50

Im an arborist. I've been climbing trees for ten years. Year and a half ago I took a much better paying job ($37/hour + frequent OT and benefits) doing 98% bucket work. In terms of bodily strain, compared to climbing, I might as well be sitting in cubicle. However, I hate my job as it is now boring, tedious, easy as fuck but still stressful due to quotas, and even though my salary is based on my experience, the real purpose of paying me to do what is essentially entry level treework, for which I am 1000x overqualified, is to be an on-site supervisor. That being said I love being an arborist. But in my current situation I hate every second of every day. Coworkers are decent which is the only thing that makes it tolerable. Starting my own business is clearly the way to go but for that I need initial capital, customers, insurance and shit like that, and all day every day mental commitment. I have serious fomo around 1000x shitcoins that I should be buying now/should have bought in the last four months. Missed SOL.
