Taxable event wouldn't have mattered. Not when you're talking about a 10x to your funds had you done this. Yes the play was link to btc mid 2020 or eth or doge or Shiba sure (if you somehow had the guts to make such an insane gamble) sell the top late 21 and buy the bottom link at 5 bucks then swap again into btc. Great well I couldn't see the future.

Here's the deal. Other than making an educated guess that link would need to be sold for eth to pay for fees and that rotating into another coin with better normie understanding. These were the only two reasons to swap out of link. No one knew how staking would work or when ccip would go live. So most here held off in the chance they dropped.

Undoubtedly the price action is terrible everyone can't understand it because the truth is it doesn't make sense. Fudders can say whatever but even they'll not be able to explain it other than typing cuckold or Sergey dump or token not needed.

None of us know what's happening in the background is the truth. The only thing we have are breadcrumbs about Larry fink saying tokenisation is the next step and seeing link being integrated into products and services. Any other post is either fud or guessing.

There's nothing to gain from biz this forum has none of the charm of the pre mainnet days.
