I can see that, not sure why most non americans have trouble doing conversions from American Imperial to Metric. I learned both in school so I assume its a national thing too. Also use both on a daily basis for work. Guess its just preference too.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you guys, specifically the SETF chads who got me first interested in metals. Because of you, I have roughly six months of expenses saved in silver and gold that I wouldn't have otherwise had.

I had lymphoma a couple years ago, and have only been able to work between 4 and 5 hours a day. Without the advice of /biz over the years, I'm not sure I would still be making if financially.

Honestly, thank you guys. Because of you, I'm able to survive this little hiccup. I even love you crypto bros. While some of your advice is retarded, some of you have also given solid advice that I followed to the extent that I was even able to make house payments while going through chemo.

Can you guys explain some things for me? I’m not here to shit on PMs, I own a substantial amount myself but most people in this bread are very ill informed or confused.

For example. A lot of you seem to think that you are stacking PM as a way to “stick it to the Jews” in some way. I think you’ll find that it’s Jews that completely run the entire business, they own almost the entire supply, the bullion/gold/silver dealers and the mining operations AND it’s Jews that are always so heavily involved in shilling gold and silver for obvious reasons.
>gold is gonna be $5000 in a year!
>silver will be 500!
>- says Mr.Goldstein
I wonder who it is that benefits from your purchases of PM and the massive premiums? Hmmmm…. It couldn’t be said Jews that own everything benefitting from scaring people into purchasing could it?

I have other things I find weird that often get posted in this thread that are not true or that people simply don’t understand about PMs or the business itself but we will stick with this for now.

The paper-ponzi is far more profitable than any speculation on commodities. As the paper ponzi expands it is like a pizza dough that gets too thin and tears. The first tears can be seen in very shallow commodities such as Rhodium and Palladium. The base metal markets had 10x rips last year in Nickel and Tin(?).
One of the most important metals to explode is silver. It having dual purpose as a monetary metal link to gold as well as being one of the single most important commodities for the digital age, silver is set to cause a run on the banks which will inevitably pull gold along with it which will blow out all international treaties/trade unions.
It's a very dangerous scenario because the global economy is saturated in IOUs. It is essentially a giant ponzi scheme with financial planners carefully managing the withdrawals of the ponzi. Silver can tear the whole managed economy to shreds as the IOUs pent up in 401k, pensions, insurance, bank deposits and brokers are simply NOT able to flow in to the real world. Our IOUs are meant to be inflated away and never actually made good. We are supposed to work as credit-slaves owning "demand units" with 100% of our capital being reinvested in the ponzi or consumed as services.
The flight to quality breaks it apart.

I wish I had more gold too to help round out the PM portfolio. It has a certain level of prestige to it, similar to someone who puts in hard work to stay strong and fit. You have to save your money instead of going to the LCS every paycheck. Or you eat the premiums and spend the next two months paying off a credit card.
I don't forsee gold going lower than $2000 and I base that on nothing. The only thing stopping me is knowing the GSR is heavily in favor of silver buying. The trader in me knows to focus on the value and not my petty desires to have a neater looking stack.

take 10% of your takehome pay and dollar cost average into metals. gold and silver are both great; if youre unsure with what to start with get a little of both.

for silver start with getting rounds, bars in 1 oz or ten oz denominations. for gold, id start with old world sovereigns or 20 franc coins. kinebars are neat too, just keep inmind the smaller the piece the larger the premium generally

Solid advice, fren. I’m not a poor, but I have so many kids it feels like I’m poor. Still, I tithe 10%, then dollar cost average the next 10% into metals. This, plus a fiat emergency fund, plus other investments (or more metal, in my case), will bring you closer to “making it” than 99% of people.

honestly, check ebay and a few online dealers. some online dealers run their specials thru the ebay store, plus when buying on ebay, you can get Credit Card points back

walmart.com also works believe it or not; they drop ship for apmex and routinely beat apmexs prices

for non ebay dealers, use
for ebay dealers they are all reputable so long as they have high feedback and are a regulaer longtime metals dealers such as bullionexchanges or libertycoin

as far as gold goes starting with 2 rand coins, brit sovereigns, 20 franc french/swiss coins is the way to go. austrian stuff like ducats and coronas are great too but their puritys are a little weird IMO.

the other great thing about stacking gold sovereigns is you can get all different years for cheap; not graded or anything but it is really cool having a gold coin from over a hundred years ago. and since those coins have been used for so long its easier to authenticate

here are some decent pricing. i was picking up 20 francs for $350ish and sovereigns for $400; now soveriegns are like $500ish on a good day and 20 francs $400ish

as far as francs go, for me, its the angels

If you're not who I think you are (you're probably not) ignore what I'm going to say next.

If you are, look, based on seeing you in an oversized hoodie a few times I assume you have a S/O. I respect that. But I can't get you out of my head, it's unhealthy yes I acknowledge, know and fully admit that. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be awkward, rude or insensitive. I just need the rejection so I can move on. I get it, there's no chance, blah blah blah... have at it w/ both barrels. Let's get this over
