i don't have the numbers, but icp does not have high inflation. solana and avalanch are much higher. even sirgay's endless dumps are far more brutal.

plus it has deflationary burn from canister cycles, and the huge hidden burn which is the 8 year lockup.

Yeah inflation isn't high. It mainly comes from staking rewards anybody says its from node rewards is a retard or is deliberately trying to manipulate you.
I think it's around 10 - 15 million tokens are minted every year which is about 2-3% inflation rate. Which isn't bad. It won't increase or decrease with price rising and falling. But a good portion of the tokens that are minted are restocked.
The reverse gas model is no where near deflationary but at some point as more apps burn cycles I think there will be a good balance between the two. Not necessarily fully deflationary but where enough is burned where the supply is pretty much stable. This will give any 8 year non dissolving staker lifetime of passive income. I would highly suggest to have 1000 icp at least staked for 8 years non dissolving. You'll mint about half an icp a day.
Also invest in the ecosystem. A lot of the top projects I think will give a way better return than just solely investing in icp but don't fall for any of the raj scams.
