Boss is freaking out after I put in my notice…

Why do managers do this? It funny as fuck when you call their bluff.

Managers are basically the (((them))) of the business world. They think they're better than you, just because someone they view as important told them so. They think that because they have the power of the (((organization))) at their behest, that they can control you, and you will always prostrate yourself before them and do as you're told.

When none of this turns out to be true, they kvetch and seethe. The only problem is, if you do it often enough, other (((managers))), especially (((hiring managers))), will try to blacklist you for being a bad human chatel.

Make yourself smart enough, talented enough, capable enough, and (((managers))) will grovel at your feet instead. Or just don't care, become a neet, and parasitize off the parasites instead.

Become indispensable to the company without being a manager. Then you have the managers by the balls

Most managers live that way too, upper middle class has keeping up with the jones's mentality. So even someone making high six figures in a low income area blows their load.

>why do normies put a notice?
Because I like to see them seethe.

I remember quiting a job, and at the end up the two weeks my manager offered a 15% pay increase. (86k, I was making 75k)

I politely counter offered I wouldn't stay for less than 150k per year and he almost had a conniption.

120k, but the new job was closer to home. So being a lot more than my first job and being closer to my parents so I could stay there instead of renting. I wanted more to cover my rent.

First job, 75k was in Ohio, second Job 120k was in Michigan.

Automation and controls engineering. Eventual goal is to move even further north, when I make it I'm moving to the UP on no less than 250 acres.

They throw a fake tantrum to emotionally manipulate their employees into staying and keep taking backshots and abuse and because they don't really wanna bother much with paper work and having to find someone else etc... They actually don't care, you are replaceable and your shoes will be filled within the week.

idk i always try to leave jobs on a good note in case i need a reference and they actually call or something. ill usually just put my notice at the last week of the month then i leave on what i hope are good terms. just in case, there's no need to be a lazy bastard and just quit out of the blue.

I had my share of scuffles with shitty managers and they are always the same, dying to be in control of anyone and when you come and put their shit into place they have to grumble like dogs in a kennel.

Kinda miss it.
