BCH ETF incoming?

BCH Futures product, as you guys know futures are a key step to have before you can have approval of an ETF.

Could explain the characteristically bullish price action over the past 9 months

its one of the handful of coins that will not be labelled an unregistered security. and yes it will have an etf.

I laugh at the Litecoin faggots that think their coin can even compete with BCH

This. It's been 15 years and a lot has happened. Bitcoin won. Either get some or just throw away your money on jeetcoins.

bch's 24hr volume is 7.5% of its marketcap, compared to btc which has 2.5% volume to marketcap
the liquidity seems 3x better on bch?

Why are you deluding yourself? Self-sabotage? The best thing I did was sell my bch for BTC after it forked. Just pull up a chart and compare the two over the long term. The bitcoin network is magnitudes greater than anything else, it's not even close.

>The bitcoin network is magnitudes greater than anything else
true. but there's a little problem called 1MB blocks that crippling the growth sir.

If you'd bought BCH last year you would be happy right now, things change over time

I only have 37 BCH. Mostly still have BTC but iwant to drop that turd so bad. But I know its probably not time yet the herd is still pumping crippleBitcoin.

>> No.58142879

>>58142850
you'll likely never time it perfectly, but look at the BCHBTC ratio on the 12M chart, 2023 ended with a green doji, green, for the first time ever
dojis are commonly reversal signals, so that very well could have been the lowest we'll see it for a very long time, perhaps ever again.
from a long term perspective, odds are you're getting it at a great price relative to BTC right now

>> No.58142910

>>58142879
I've been buyying the past year mostly. so I'm comfy with my BCH. just contemplating switching more BTC for BCH. I never use BTC (cause fees) . I use BCH all the time. I'll do it very slowly. i still have a trauma from the gigadump caused by the hashwar loss and then the craig forking out and then xec forking out

>> No.58142921

>>58142807
It's not. Any idea how much capital is going into layer 2 development? Those that hold large amounts of bitcoin are incredibly wealthy and getting wealthier. They are currently pouring that wealth into development. In the future, the base layer will only be used for high value settlement. Pay attention because you'll only have one chance at this.

>> No.58142924

yeah, I don't blame you
just my perspective in terms of TA

>> No.58142939

>>58142921
Have you ever used any of these layer2 tho? LN is a grand failure. the fact is the block size needs to go up to implement L2 too.

I'll carry on with my plan of mostly holding BTC but slowly getting into BCH and XMR. Cause I like actual peer2peer currency for the world. not just for the michael saylors who don't mind paying a 20 dollar fee

>> No.58142990

>>58142977
nice, I've been accumulating XMR as well

>> No.58143020

>>58142990
yeah it's not a speculative winner but whatever. I trade shitcoins and then put profits into BTC and then later I switch it over to BCH or XMR. the XMR this year hasn't been a win on the BTC rates but the BCH was a win. whatever.

>> No.58143059

>>58143020
I do the same, I'm currently in 7 coins that are not BCH or XMR that will ideally be traded for more of both.

>> No.58143408

>>58142556
Wow nice. And BTC is even used as a base for trading even by people who don't want to hold it. How did BCH end up having that much trade volume?

>> No.58143449

>>58143408
i'm guessing because people actually use it for transactions from $0.01 to $1000000 its just being traded and exchanged around more. I've sent people $0.05 tips in BCH for funny posts before. you can't do that with BTC. neither can a poor farmer in zimbabwe ask a BTC payment from another farmer next to him where he worked a few days. cause the poor people can't afford to pay a $1 to $20 fee like on BTC.

in the future following you'll see BCH being adopted as actual p2p currency.

>> No.58144490

Why is it having so much trouble breaking 500?

>> No.58144518

>>58144490
it had trouble breaking $300 too, I'm sure it will have trouble at $700, and $1000 as well

>> No.58145267

>>58143449
does that become less possible with more usage, or does the block size / network structure mitigate that? (serious question)

>> No.58145398

>>58145267
BCH has adaptive blocksize now. fees will stay low and block size will go up algorithmically. i don't know the details but the answer is : no, it will stay p2p cash.
