I'm really scared for the financial future of everyone in my family.

>Parents can't retire and are realizing that cars were not a good investment after all
>Uncle is gonna work himself to death supporting four kids and a useless wife by himself
>Grandparents are literally pissing $400 a day MINIMUM on state-sponsored caretakers
>Cousins were all in good lines of work before Covid, then mysteriously went back to zero
>The only financially stable relatives I have are the ones who were already living near the poverty line

I couldn't care less if I end up making decent money because I'm constantly worried about my folks.
What's weird is that we were all promised again and again a few years ago that everything would be fine.
Now it's not and I don't even think we did anything wrong. I have a little nest egg for emergencies and that's it.
