Litecoin had some lingering utility. It was in someways a layer2 for Bitcoin, allowing for quicker transfer of funds. At the very least it took some pressure off of Bitcoin during periods of congestion. Second, it was a chain useful for rolling out new features that could later be implemented on Bitcoin. (segwit, mimblewimble).

None of that is compelling any longer.

You fell for the scam, that's what you get for thinking that easy money would lead you to make it. You should have bought BRC20 tokens instead of Litecoin.

People actually use Litecoin to transfer value. USDT is trapped in the Ethereum gas chamber.

Litecoin is great if you are actually using cryptos as currencies and not as speculative investments.
With that said, I prefer Algorand now because it's even cheaper and faster.

litecoin was never safe or relevant
all altcoins eventually follow in its steps

>> No.58056527

>>58056389
it was always safe and relevant, still the most used payment coin.
just mostly a shitty investment after 2017.

but all that matters is whether it gets an etf or not.

>> No.58056586

>>58056527
it was relevant in 2013, as you can see from the chart, and never relevant since. on-chain exposes any claims of it being a payment coin.

and an etf? it's as tainted in the eyes of regulators as any other bitcoin success inspired altcoin like ethereum. there's no justifiable reason to push for one.
it's been outperformed by bitcoin for over 11 years, there's no potential for higher growth than bitcoin, it's an unnecessary, dead asset.

>> No.58056737

>>58056586
yikes. that's all false, seems you are new to crypto?
i was mining it in 2013.
i just used it to pay online because boomer merchants still only accept btc, eth, ltc.
no pre-mine, not proof of stake, etc...

anyway, weird narrative to push.

>> No.58056794

kek
one thing's for sure, you're not smart enough to get it, even after 10 years.

why would anyone buy litecoin through an etf over bitcoin unless they're oblivious to the fact that it's been losing value against bitcoin since 2014? nobody is going to push for an etf that would have no demand and would have no chance of going up without artificial injections of liquidity.

the only chance old alts like litecoin have in tradfi is a mass launch of altcoin etfs long after grayscale fights and wins into turning ethe into one. that means no large pool of liquidity for litecoin, it'll share it with all the other failed alts that get wrapped into some down-only etf product.

this is why i won, and you're still holding bags that will never see green again.

>> No.58056973

>>58056794
bro stop @ing me you angry nigga.

nobody cares if it's been losing value to btc. if grayscale or some entity pushes an etf, they'll buy it because it's "cheap bitcoin" etf.
plus they've actually heard the name before.

also, you think ltc will never even reach it's previous ath, that it hit twice? that's a 4x. ltc probably hits a 4x before btc does. and with an etf it will do far more than 4x.

ltc will get it's own etf some day. there's not too many similar criteria cryptos you can shove into that "basket." there's only ltc or btc forks. no pre-mine, are pow, capped supply, long uptime, etc...

and who said i'm holding bags? i said its been a shit investment since 2017.
im actually BUYING soon my lil nigga.
