Some time after the initial spike, the stock was floating around $40 for a while, I had some friends who bought in around the high 100's. I was on a call with one of them who had just sold that day because he got sick of holding and literally hours later it began running back up to the high $300's. The problem is that they short when we buy a share, sell us the synthetic, then we DRS it, meaning their position is open and they cant use it for the 3242345th locate. I haven't checked the FTD data in a while but I bet its pretty low because they cant even hide shares in there anymore.

Basically when liquidity dries up, some even causes fomo, possibly Teddy going live, or it could be something else, and when people pile in then it goes to the next best price. If the next best price is say $20 a share it runs up because there are no shares to interject in the bid and ask to make the price stagnant. We've seen the NBBO jump to $480k in march 2022 I think, and it got halted like 5 times on the way up and down, then they managed to inject shares during these halts which is illegal. They cant do that if there's no shares left.

Zoomies don't give a fuck about owning a plastic case. They prefer to download things digitally so they don't have to get up and put the disc in the console. Some consoles are being sold without disc drives, a trend that will continue to it's logical conclusion: no disc drives necessary because physical media is dead. Microsoft pulling Starfield off shelves. Games increasingly having digital only releases.

I went to see how much Persona 3 was from GameStop and I noticed they only offer free shipping for orders $79+. New games are $70 these days. Very sneaky Ryan
