When is bitcoin hitting its bottom so I can buy it going up?

I have $30,000 to put into it but it’s all the money I have in the world and I need it to double and hopefully triple one. Will it go up?

I just bought so this is definitely the top. It's going to retrench to somewhere between here and 30k and then who knows.

If it goes below 65k then panic. But I think it wont go below 65k because a couple institutions are stupidly, massively overleveraged. If it starts dropping they will simply buy coins until it stops. That's the difference between this and any other commodity. You can just fucking buy it in a second. Myself, I would go in now if I was you.
I also went in all the way in Sept, as in liquidated my 401k, sold all of my stocks in ROTH for BTC, and dumped everything I had except 25K into BTC. I then rode it up to 44k and sold it for 120k. then I sold it again at 67k for a bit less, I think like 100 or so, as I started to pay myself back. Then I put in 40k at 70 for day trading and have been clearing $500-1000 a day or so except when I decided to play Helldivers and forgot to Limit Sell and got my balls pinched at $71 and rode it down to here which is a 3K loss or so. And I believe its going back to up to 80 before April so I'm going to keep that cash in.
Just don't hold to infinity. Hard to time, but eventually when you turn a profit, you can afford to give up profit to preserve capital. Yeah you don't make the retard gains, but I'm also not over here praying it drops to 30k because I'm a huge nocoiner faggot that didn't believe.

If it dips its going to 50, so I would keep an eyeball on it. I definitely wouldn't hold. That being said, Saturday was low volume until that happened. It's fighting up at 66k now. Monday will be interesting when the liquidity traders get going. If the institutions do their usual shit of pumping the shit out of it Monday night this will be a learning experience for new people on what diamond hands are as rugged boomers exit in a panic thinking its the dead cat and not a normal Monday.

My theory based on one whole cycle and no research, is the halving isn't quite the supply shock expected because miners have stockpiles. About summer it will start to hurt market supply so I will continue to DCA until then. Then stop buying and wait.

How long of a time frame are you looking at waiting for?
I'd say you need 8-12 years(2-3 cycles, maybe 4) with that amount of initial investment, but if you're willing to wait it'll really pay off.

As for when to buy... I'd buy now. It can go lower or higher, but you'll never be able to predict the exact bottom or top anyway. Fussing over the highs and lows will just bring you unnecessary stress.
Whereas it will all barely make a difference if you hold after 2-3 cycles.

>When is bitcoin hitting its bottom so I can buy it going up?
Never. The fact that you're all asking it non-stop shows there's still too much demand so the price can't dump that much , or at least not enough to be appetizing to you gullible poorfags. Economy 101.

>> No.58037736

>>58037265
It probably will dump more in the next 30 days when smaller miners close up shop and that triggers panic selling, but it won't be as bad as previous cycles because etf boomers won't sell. I'd throw in half your wad now, and wait for sub 50k for the rest, but in case it doesn't dump be prepared to bite the bullet and throw in the rest before the halvening

>> No.58037933

this bullrun prior to etfs we've got a couple like ~21% drawdowns which would be ~58k.
bigger like ~30% would be to ~50k
really crazy would be to bull market support band around like 46-47k and seeing if it holds it

I hope we don't get that low again because if we do i'm going to get retarded and take out a bunch of debt to get a ton of BTC. Realistically i'd expect that 50-58 range as the worst case.
levels I'd watch if we break are
58
50
46/7
if we break that we might hit 40 or less but I think that is extremely unlikely.

For you I'd just start chunking in so you don't miss it.
put 10k in now, dump the rest in if we go back up to like 67. If not do another 10 when we hit 60 or something, etc.

>> No.58037964

>>58037933
Yeah absolutely, I'm still strongly bullish about this because there's nothing stopping some rich retard from harvesting liquidity right now because the volume is so shit, but I am worried because this is the ATH and we are dancing with lightning. It's not such an obvious callout like Q3-Q4 last year. Whoopty fuck I'm down 3K, if it runs from 67 to 70 or higher then I'm back.

you shouldn't put all your money in the world in btc bro. but you do you, i'd say 30k is the bottom in a few months after the post halving bull run dies out, but you'll be holding for another 4 years till 3x.

Disclaimer: following what >>58037297
says may not be the correct answer.

If you believe bitcoin’s price will be >$100k the difference between buying at $67000 and $65000 is .02 btc. If you miss buying and it shoots up above $70000 you’re leaving >.04 bitcoin on the table. If you think the price will be above where it is now at any point in the future it makes more sense to buy than wait. Up until Friday (and probably again tomorrow) everyone who had ever bought btc and held was in profit.

Good chance bottom was yesterday. Saylor is getting a few hundred mill on Monday which will likely push BTC above 70k alone. Add in another 1-2b in weekly inflows. Market structure will be very bullish if BTC can consolidate here without nuking after such a big run up.
