If its the one im thinking of, there's a lot of issues with it. Being well dressed, well fed, tall and light skinned goes pretty far. The most important factor might be already having a dominant leadership mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. Knowing you can't fail, you won't fail. It's misleading bs making you think anyone can just do it so easy.
Anyway, I'm a fan of trading and bartering. If your time is only worth what you can make off $1 then the sky is the limit in a sense. The trap a lot of us fall into is once making another dollar doesnt seem worth the time.
Idk man literally $1 isnt much anymore. Select some items with an active used market and get a feel for the prices. Buy low sell high. Get people to give you anything they are willing to and turn that into money, even if its a free meal so you have $5 more for the next deal you can make.
