I have keys on my computer on a notepad file where I keep $2000 worth of ETH

This is how I know if I am comprised or not, if that money gets taken, I know im compromised.

Describe to me how this an effective honeypot. Why would the breach of this ETH wallet provide insight into the security of a totally separate wallet that’s stored in a more secure manner? Not like you’d get any meaningful Intel on the pajeet who stole your ETH or anything

It just means something is compromised is all, so long as those keys (which are generated from a hardware wallet, but that I manually saved to a notepad) aren't ever used, it means my PC is clean

Makes a bit more sense but if your bigger crypto stash is offline then why put $2K at risk to make sure your PC isn’t compromised? Are you concerned about exposure during a cash-out scenario when you need to bring it back online? I hope you’re also paying for AV and basic security if you’re putting $2K at risk for a honeypot
