How do I stop having panic attacks every time the price dips? I keep thinking this is the big one and that 50% of my net worth will get wiped out in an instant every time I see it start to fall. I'm a neet and all of my money is in crypto. I've been trying to use my time to learn software engineering and get a job so I never have to worry about the price of btc again but it's going to take me at least another year to become employable, and if the price dumps below $25k I'm not going to have enough money to last me that long.

I have never had so much money in my life and it’s all in incredibly risky meme coins and I just keep thinking I’m going to lose it all but I can’t sell because if it goes to millions I would also kms. But if I lose it all I will also kms.

Ridiculous. How are drugs going to solve my problem of not being employable? Even if btc goes to $200k or whatever, I still need to learn a skill and get a job at some point.

I don't even care if I end up selling all of my crypto. I just need it to last me enough time to get good enough at programming to be able to get a job. Ideally I probably need another 2 years but I think I can do it in 1. After that I could have 0 crypto for all I care, because it's brought nothing but misery and anxiety to me the entire time I've held it.

Depends how deep you are, but if you're like most, you just stop. You're gonna feel really sick for two weeks. Trouble sleeping, shaky vision, sweating, headaches. Carry candy in your pockets. Your blood has a Snickers bar in it 24/7 rn from the drinking, and for the time being you need to keep the sugar intake high. If you smoke, pick up a carton or two.

What part of I'm unemployable don't you get? I literally can't get a job and the only thing I'm halfway decent at will take me time to get good enough to be competitive enough in the job market. I just want to make my money last as long as possible to have the highest chances of getting a job.

>> No.58000956

>>58000835
What other choice do I have? I guess I could just sell everything right now, but that will mean I'll have to pay higher taxes than selling as I need it, and it will solidify the fact that I have less than 3 years to become employable and get a job. What if that ends up not being enough time?

I've been lying to my parents for the past 5 years and they think I'm already successfully employed as a software engineer. If they found out I've been a neet living off crypto this entire time they would probably hate me for the rest of their lives and I wouldn't be able to live with the shame of it. I'd unironically rather kill myself than ever admit to that. If I don't actually make it as a software engineer before I run out of money my life is literally over.

If your crypto is worth enough to last you three years of expenses, why not sell it all now and eliminate the stress from the volatility? How much higher do you think it will realistically go this cycle? Just cash out and call it a day.
If you can code, you could try starting your own online service while you look for a job. If I had three years of living expenses paid and no job taking up all my time, I could pull off something really cool. I bet you could do the same.
I don't think your best course of action is to sit around and have panic attacks and then rope after bitcoin has a huge correction.

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

IDK. 80% of my net worth is in Bitcoin. it's fluctuated between 1% and 96% (because I sodl a bit here and there.)
I've never panicked. So that's my awesome advice to you fren: Don't panic.
Incidentally, I've always made sure I could go on living just fine even if all crypto instantly went to zero, either by having a job paying enough to cover all expenses, or by having enough non-crypto investments that their returns would cover all expenses. But that's probably unrelated.
