Quick summary: FunFair is a software developer making gambling games. The games run inside smart contracts, which use FUN tokens, to make gambling provably-fair on the Ethereum blockchain, along with state channels which allow the use of said smart contracts off-chain for scalability and reduced cost for a gambler to play. FunFair is licensing their games out to casino operators to utilize for free.

The problem FunFair solves is the issue of trust that plagues online gambling. Also, hosting a FunFair casino has much lower overhead costs than a typical online casino due to the decentralized nature of the Ethereum network.

There's always a possibility given enough people flood the network with transactions, but since FunFair's games utilize provably-fair off-chain state channels, only two on-chain transactions are requires for a gaming session: one transaction at the start of a session, and one at the end of a session. After you start a session of gambling, you play as much as you want and it will not bog down the Ethereum network.

Here is an article describing FunFair's approach to turing-complete state channels if you are curious: https://funfair.io/approach-turing-complete-state-channels-part-1/

Currently their state-channel tech is being put to use on ethereum testnets.

Don't forget to make an all-in Blackjack bet as soon as the casino launches. You want to make it, right anon?

Ethereum scalability. Their off-chain turing complete state channels mean we won't be dealing with bullshit congestion like with CryptoKitties.

Dope as fuck technology. But I don't see major online casinos adopting this. Why should they? Average joe who wants to play blackjack doesn't care about formal verification.
