modern economics are unpredictable because It's not based on hard data but mostly based on speculation and hype otherwise economists and TA kiddies would be billionaires. All the markets are glorified casinos where the FED is the owner.

wrong. the markets are an expression of the actions of market participants. Such participants bid, ask, buy and sell. Price movement occurs due to buying or selling pressure at the margins of the current price.

The chart condenses the sum total of actions, knowledge and expectations of all market participants and plots this data compressed in the price action and the chart is it's history.

Just an example, with the war in Israel/Palestine, houtis rebel have started attacking ships in the red sea and the gulf of Aden, in turn, shipping companies operating cargo ships have diverted their ships, it wastes time and money. It scares investors.
You can see that Maersk, for instance, is down 25% compared to before the war. If you buy now, it will most likely go back to normal after a few weeks/months, and a quick +20% is strongly expected.

That's just an example, but stuff like this happens ALL the time, just follow the news and use your brain
