>I'm getting really anxious to sell my apartment and rent in order to gamble more on piss cheap resource stocks
I wouldn't do that personally. There will be more bear markets in the future to capitalize on. Slow and steady wins the race.

>> No.57982936

>>57982767
I just think my expected return is so much higher with carefully picked miners during buying opportunity dips than it is with real estate, at least for the foreseeable future. Longer term real estate will likely keep trending up but if I could say double my money within five years in the stock market I would handily beat any appreciation in my home equity. Hell even getting 20-40% profit would probably beat my home equity as long as rates remain high, and if rates drop that'll be good for commodities anyways. Rental costs could be an offsetting issue though, I guess I'll have to look around my area and see what rental costs are

Despite my gigabrain trading strategies I think you're still right that being prudent on this is probably more reasonable. I have been thinking about monetizing my home for over a year now and had I done it a year ago to buy stocks I'd probably be in the red right now. But the deals in the stock market have only gotten better while real estate continues to look weak so it's gnawing on me again

Short RMB if that actually is in the cards since the Chinese pimp that shit out like a hooker. Yes. I've been here since /pmg/ and this guy >>58003002 is right. The original /cmmg/ dream was to buy and hodl miners, but that doesn't work at all because they are all scams that dilute and dilute and dump and dump and even a "winner" stock can do fucking shit all or turn into a loser before the commodity price ever pumps.

If you want to make money with individual stock picks you have to either shotgun so wide that you won't outperform an ETF/3xETF with the amount of shitcos that drag down your winners, or you have to live and breathe the DD and be prepared to dump a "winner" at the drop of a hat while constantly researching other projects, looking for whichever company will happen to look the best at the time that the underlying resource eventually pumps in price. Possible to do but just not for me. My preferred brand of autism lies in memelines and ETFs, not drudging through financial reports and determining which sleazeball CEO is the least sleazy.

Besides, as we've known since literally day one junior miners move last in a bull market. Maybe I'll throw cash at a few if there's any that haven't pumped towards the tail end of the bubble phase, but for now I'm all about the ETFs baby

Silver hitting $25 means it’s at multi-year resistance, dating back to 2022. So if we reason that silver is the laggard behind gold’s lead and it’s recent burst from $22 is just the start, then who knows maybe we’re testing $28-30 in short succession. Maybe silver miners will actually react to a spot move, unlike what we’ve seen from gold miners. Although the lack of movement from gold miners may be an ominous sign for their little brothers.

Just need the Fed dot plot to shift and confirm the cut rumours and that’s the spark this metals bull market needs to confirm the medium term thesis.
