Just saying, paper tends to get destroyed way more often than coins. Coin scarcity hasn't been affected much by wars. What really affected coin scarcity over the last 100 years was metal prices. Silver price went up and people melted a shitload of coins that now would be considered collectible, increasing their prices. But even then it's hard to predict what future people will find valuable. Coins have always been collectible though. They probably always will be.
