I was in JEPI for like 6 months and it wasn't worth it. The issue is that its dividends are NEVER qualified, meaning you pay nasty taxes on them. Ultimately, my time in Jepi paid thousands and thousands in dividends that ended up costing me a lot in taxes, meanwhile the actual stop price of JEPI went slightly sideways/downish. It ended up being a big wash and not worth it.
JEPI is only worth holding in tax exempts accounts.
Don't be afraid of buying and holding good stocks just because they went up. Remember that they're going up BECAUSE they're sought after and wanted. Don't buy dogshit just because its down and "must go back up". There's a lot of stocks that never went back up and never will.

Not that anon. JEPI isn't a scam. It's a SP 500 covered call (for the most part) ETF. It's beta is 0.6 meaning it has 60% of the volatility of the SP 500 (which has a 15% standard deviation). I remember the people running the ETF stating they were aiming for 6% to 8% CAGR long term. Much less than the 10% of the SP 500. A lot of that will be paid in dividends which will be taxed. It does not match market growth long term.

Various brokerage platforms require you have a minimum amount of stock/cash in your account to have unlimited day trades during a period time. Mine is 3 or less in 5 trading days if you have less than 25k.

The other option is to switch to a solely cash account, which had unlimited day trades. However you can only trade with "settled" cash, and doing more complicated spreads with options is more difficult, and in some ways, not allowed. Also, margin is disabled.

Some of the homebrew stuff is where some intense progression is being made. Believe it or not one of the best models out there right now was made the pony community. All the images I've posted were genned using it. The main reason they're so good is the tens and tens of thousands of images used to train it were manually graded by one dude using his subjective opinion on the quality of the art. A lot of data sets don't do that sort of grading.
Its probably one of the most consistent models I've used, too. Gets hands, feet, genitals, etc correct probably 80-90% of the time and handles all sorts of dynamic poses, clothing, furniture, settings, etc.
Now you've got guys making text to short video stuff too, I saw some on /b/ last night. Something about feeding data through to each new frame to keep it consistent. The results were pretty striking.

Everywhere a 3 Candle (candles where the price exceeds the High & low of the previous) is made so is a " broadening formation" exactly the shape you have there originating from todays candle. I think trading view calls them "disjointed channels" Those establish session ranges from my experience.

I specifically look for convergences of these TL's. I find the juiciest action there. Also you have to have very well established "Go" or No-Go" signals for yourself. I can win only 1/10 trades and still do well.

There are some other great things in "The Strat" but I simply look to where the stock will be "Pushed" by the broadening formations and TLs.

Its a simple overlay upon a complex thing for my ape brain to grasp. If I think too much I'll fuck it up, like much of my life lol.

If you're doing options you can always turn a call into a call spread and lock in most of your profits that way. If you have, say, NVDA 900c and then sell the 905c, that's as close as you can get to a synthetic close.
Then you close the entire position on Monday (assuming they didn't expire) and secure your entire profit.
This, of course, loses some value from fees and some opportunity cost. Its better than losing all your gains though.

Your mileage may vary but I got out of it twice. You may consult google beforehand for a warm and fuzzy. I don't believe anything has changed that would prevent them from doing the same for you.

Worst case scenario, after I got my first pdt I tried the other brokers (TD,Webull,Tasty) tasty trade is the best switch I ever made. But RH's spreads are super easy to mess with.

depends on what you mean by basis. markets base odds are 50/50 or 53/47 depending on your belief in RNG or USA USA USA.
the TA gives you edge. so instead of 53% you've got 54%
most of the really reliable stuff is 60/40. and thats just the patterns, if you pile up all the statistical analysis atop that, you get better.
Some times the real world fucks you. you're just a dude on the computer, not the accountant or chief of ops.
With these kinds of odds its currently more art than science. but it does work. You can make an argument that its not worth knowing or checking every pattern. because the edge differential is so small. So half the art is finding a product currently obeying.
but based on that chart alone, you just had a large down move, into a strong basing pattern with higher highs and higher lows, and earnings coming up, which the report is a large part of the volatility.
If you think all that's priced in and you got fair compensation for your options more power to you. you took a risk and got rewarded.
but with earnings just out. You're gonna have a very difficult time refuting the price action.
