You don't need to stake to get ETH payments. If you do stake, you still get your ETH payments, but you also earn EARNFI as well. The EARNFI collected needs to claimed or compounded, but that should only cost pennies on BASE.

Just hold Earnfi and do nothing, and the ETH rewards will come (as long as there is volume)

Claim will take the staked tokens and place them in your wallet total, compound will add that accrual back to your staked amount. Best to wait to do either for now as it takes ~5 to break even on the unstake fee alone. Just make sure to claim before unstaking, as it says.
