Staking is probably the biggest embarrassment for Chainlink as a project. You waited an entire year to make the staking pool bigger, and the only purpose is to... secure the ETH/USD price feed again? On one blockchain? That's v0.1.1, not 0.2. You couldn't even add a single service to staking. No BUILD rewards were paid out. Staking was so embarrassing that there are still tokens sitting in 0.1 that stakers didn't even touch.

I'm losing my mind.. how can it perform so poorly. Btc is 72k while link is $20.70

Losing your mind? You are literally aware of sergeys dumping and yet you refuse to sell. It’s stockhold syndrome at this point. You can literally view the dumps on the verifiable blockchain explorer. It isn’t some secret.

Chainlink is literally a rug. Sergey uses the token to fund his failing tech business. Him rugging over the course of several years rather than all at once like a pajeet doesn't make it any less of a rug.

the purpose of the link token is to financially punish the holder (findom) its a subcategory of a particular type of cuck fetish for the link marine. he holds the token to be financially dominated into a pay pig and also be cucked by every other token and participant in the crypto market! just learned this, so i guess its true that link does have a use case.

The Gravelcoin saga really did it for me.
It was the sloppiest and most obvious direct evidence that there's nothing behind this shitshow, no actual technology. It's just a greasy dev with a premined ICO shitcoin looking for a quiet, long exit scam.

No different than REQ, or FUN or OMSG, QSP or any of the other shit from back then.

Oracle and Chainlink entered a partnership to incubate blockchain startups. Predictably with anything Chainlink touches, it failed. You weren't around for gravelcoin huh?

it spawned several successful projects, some of which got shilled here on /biz/ on their own merits, notably QNT and DAG.

kek there it is. I cannot believe people fell for Sergey and this long history of rugpulls and failures, especially after NXT. Not to mention working closely with Celsius, Bancor, and TerraLuna before they rugpulled everybody. Not to mention inviting the Bernie Madoff of our time to SmartCon, to headline no less. Not to mention the desperate need to partner with anyone with a pulse, like DMM, Lady Luck, and MOAB. It's all right there for stinky linky cult gang but they're working overtime to convince the masses that SWIFT would hand their future over to some slob who partnered with Lady Luck token.

And where did that get Chainlink? Where is Fernando now? Oh that's right, not even working for Oracle anymore. Quant is now a rival to Chainlink, and the startup program got shelved because it was a massive psyop. Remember Ian Keane and the Oracle slides? The imminent integration? It was all bullshit

>> No.57962736

>>57962712
It didn't lead anywhere but its also very clear that the oracle connection wasn't bullshit. All this shit is real, it just doesn't matter right now because of the infinite shitcoin circus and the narrow focus of ETFs.
