It's not gambling unless you are sizing way too large. Delta the greek on an option contract if you are utilizing weeklies allows you to set super easy targets. Take a look at spy 318c 3/15 currently .20 delta and costs $82 or 0.82x100 to open. Now that delta of .20 means if spy goes up by one dollar say 510-511 then that contract will gain .20 and it value will now be 1.02. Buy the contracts immediately enter a sell order at that price. Set an alert for a stoploss level and go for it. It becomes gambling when you go super out of the money and the underlying needs to have massive moves to get any profit. Options are great but people can be retarded with them.
