I have reached 400k net worth as a 36 year old. 240k cash and 160k crypto. Is that good?

I'm 31 and just hit $1.2M.

My plan is to sell some crypto in the next few months, buy a house cash and keep working for like 6 months. Put the rest of my cash in 5% bonds and use the $35K/year in interest to cover my property taxes, insurance, utilities and maintenance.

Then I can work doing whatever I want to cover my car insurance, fuel, health insurance, groceries and misc spending. I only need like $30-40K/year from part time work to feel comfy. I make $240k/year now though, so I'm half tempted to work for another year after buying the house and bank as much as I can while taking my foot off the gas pedal. Then be even more comfortable when I switch to part time work.

Yeah it's not bad. Get a home loan but a nice down payment then rent the house out to cover the mortgage. Start a business with what's left over.

We both know you won't take this responsible and excellent advice though. I sure didn't.

Average networth for that age bracket is what like 5-600k? Yes I know what a median is, do not compare yourself to the median unless you want to be nothing more than nigger cattle. Not bad but you could be doing better. The Jews yanked the ladder up hard for upward class mobility over the last decade, you’re in a comfy place where it might be worth taking some risks with 20-30k or if you always want to just live an average life just stay out and put some money into index funds.
