I'm inheriting $150,000 dollars from my grandparents in two months. How do I invest this money wisely? I'm thinking about putting some into some gold and silver and maybe some BTC. What does /biz/ recommend? No meme responses pls.

Putting most of it in something stable is definitely the way to go. If you have around 10k to put into riskier investments, you won't fail with small cap utilities like KNS and AVI that have real usecases.

VICI and O are down YTD. Or do you refer to other REITs?

How are you inheriting 150k? You know they’re going to die? Oh, no? So they’re giving it to you? Bad news anon you owe taxes on the amount above 18k.

They already died. They're house sold for a fuck ton of money. A portion of that was given to me in their will.

Can you buy yourself a house (down payment) with that money?

Unless you're a fucking genius, just buy as much property as your $150,000 can net you. You'll thank me later.

Gold is boringly conservative and probably even overkill in most situations. Eth and btc are decent, especially as we ramp up. If you still prefer precious metals and you expect a downturn then add some oil in there too. XOM wll deliver in a crisis and you even get some decent dividends. Do you have real estate contacts?

not a meme but grab a bag of rwn / rowan energy maybe 25-50k. Check it out first tho and climb down the rabbit hole. Throw the rest into bitcoin and enjoy retirement money in 2025

Put 150k in a 5% or up 12 month CD and receive an additional 6k a year in interest.

Never trade or invest with large amounts of new money.

>> No.57944372

>>57943423
normie coins probably. I wouldn't invest more than 50k out of that money, and even that is a stretch.

Do you have stable income? I'd consider >>57943620 what he said
House is always a great option to invest in. Crypto is in the growth phase rn, and it might be too high two months from now to hop into. It will grow ofc, but if it peaks, you'll have to wait a few years for another growth cycle cos you bought in too late

If this is your first attempt at crypto, id start super slow too. $100-1000 investments, just so you learn
Should you choose to invest a lot:

if you buy in too late, it peaks and crashes and you dont take out profits in time, even if you start losing money in thousands of $, just never sell.
HODL forever until you feel comfortable selling at a nice profit. Remember, this is not stock, 10% profit is not something you're looking for
