How are you supposed to make money on here?
Do I just put money in random shit coins and pray? Or do I put small sums in and take profits after a few minutes.
I am still new to branching out from eth.

Turned 1 SOL into 113 SOL in 5 weeks.
Here is how.
>1. Look up what shit/jeet coins are being talked about, do some research and pick up to 3.
>2. Realize that it will be a rug pull no matter what the shills are saying.
>3. Invest small sum 1/3 in each of your picks.
>4. Set up trade bot or price alert.
>5. Sell at +50% profits, only ever risk waiting longer if the hype is through the roof, but never go beyond an x2.
>6. After all three are sold i.e. you're back to SOL, repeat the process. However set a price milestone each time. For me it was 10, 20, 50, 100 SOL. Each time I would break a milestone I would stake anything that was above it. For example After week one I had ~15SOL, ~5 SOL is going into staking, 10 SOL will be used for trades.
>7. (optional) once you have enough swap for a stable coin or ETH/BTC.

My exit strategy is to hopefully make 500+ SOL, I will then swap for something more secure, mostly ETH and BTC and perhaps a small amount <= 10% into ALTS with some utility and meme potential and I plan on completely cashing out around November.

Also keep in mind, you MUST contain your greed, everything on SOL will get rugged eventually, yes some can make huge profits x10, x20 before they rug, but it's never worth the risk, because only around 1/100 will do that good before a rug, most will rug sooner. Contain yourself and set rules in stone. GL&HF

You do research? I use pretty much the exact same strategy but for new launches, ape 1 sol and exit after 50% profit, I do this upwards of 20 times a day and sometimes I get rugged but the profits outweigh the losses, feel like by the time you research a shitcoin it's dead or too far pumped

>>57903793

You make the case that this chain is shitchain. You're just looking to move to an actual chain but too poor to do

Let the poors battle it out and bring all those tiny $5 transactions to Eth once they've finished jeeting on each other

I see this as a win for Eth and btc. Some Eth killer this is, even their users don't want it

No it's totally not unusual to have multiple wallets. Coinbase is like a weird retard-proof exchange with slightly higher fees and honestly where I do a lot of my big swaps; It's on the Base(?) network with support for sending/receiving to/from multiple other networks like Solana, Etherium, etc.

You also have Coinbase Wallet which as the name implies is tied to your Coinbase exchange account, but they aren't the same thing. E.g. most Etherium network tokens can only be exchanged for ETH and vice-versa from Coinbase Wallet. Now the Solflare wallet I mentioned is a wallet specific to the Solana network, and I started it because I like the browser extension and app; I can easily transfer SOL/USDC between it and Coinbase over the Solana networ and I can connect my Solflare wallet to Jupiter and do my Solana ecosystem trading from there. I can't really go into more detail without being wrong but tl;dr you didn't fuck up just make a Solflare wallet and it's good not to hold all your eggs in one basket anyway.

I turned 100 dollars in to about 10k in January doing this then lost it all by going all in on shit like 10 sol at a time, didn't work, went back to playing with shitters for small amounts, back to 8k, once I get to about 20k gonna move to longer more stable plays

>>57905499
Not really bro I go through so many coins, thankfully I was smart enough to ape some profits off solana on to ton and bought some plane and some spotty, heard rumours a whale group is gonna try send spotty to top of TON chain and I got in at about 900k, ton chain is my peaceful place because things move so slow on it where as solana stresses me the fuck out

Thank you anon. Although, I don't like Coinbase Wallet. It won't let me purchase AGIX without ETH, and it will not let me buy ETH with cash, it only let's me swap ETH from my Coinbase portfolio to my CB Wallet and there's ridiculous fees for doing it that way.

>> No.57905838

>>57905772
I hate it too anon I'm only dealing with it to build up AVI. I've got random coins sitting in there that I can't trade because the gas fee costs more than the fucking stack, and right now I've got 1k USDC dead in the water because I don't have the ETH to initiate a swap transaction INTO ETH

How long you usually hold a SOL memecoin?
A day?

>> No.57906176

>>57905959
A day? 20 minutes is more like it.
Think of it like this, 80% of new solana coins rug, as in the dev literally pulls out the liquidity for a few hundred dollars profit.
Of the 20% left the dev rugs again by locking the liquidity pool but using bots to sell 50 wallets at once.
So of the 15% we have left, half of those will not gain traction and die after 10 minutes.
Of the 7.5% now left, some will last an hour, some 10 hours, some even a day, the very rare few will last a few days before fading away in to obscurity.
All the coins you see on the front page of dexscreener are the 0.01% of coins that survived and actually gained traction, now the question is when do you buy in to these to make a profit?
