Lent a friend $1k and he returned it in ~40 usd SOL, I was really butthurt when it went somewhere to the 20s, but managed to HODL and stake it through this time. Sold some at 100, maybe will sell some at 150 (like right now), I'm kinda going DCA with it.

Yeah, but be careful.

To trade memecoins on Solana, get on birdeye or photon so you can enter/exit much quicker. Set your chart to seconds, run every coin you find through rugcheck, and TAKE YOUR PROFITS AND RUN!

Don’t worry about FOMO on sol tokens. There will be a new one every 30 seconds you can ape into. Jeets everywhere. Trade with caution.

It depends on your risk appetite and how much you’re trading. What mktcap size are you looking at and what’s your time horizon?

Initially i was looking at farming the new pairs getting posted.(im using photon) But desu i was staring at the page for like hours yesterday and just dont get the pattern what is worth quick buying and selling. Its so fucking random.

Maybe ill just try looking into trending tokens.

Don't bother I have lost 3000 dollars this week trying to trade shitcoins, the only thing that makes me money on solana is buying and holding the stable 1mil plus coins. 99% of new coins are a rug where dev pulls lp or mass sells 50 wallets and the ones that survive only push to about 40k because everyone is so fucking scared of getting rugged they bail after 20$ profits. Devs have destroyed this space.

pic related literally as I was posting, it went down more after screenshot, the only people who made money on this coin were sniper bots who started selling as normal people came in causing the crash

Retards like >>57890791 are my liquidity. What are you trading on? I’d imagine dexscreener + Raydium? That’s why. Your transactions take way too long.

Also
>99% of new coins are a rug where dev pulls lp or mass sells 50 wallets
Yes, and you can avoid this by very simply putting the token through rugcheck to make sure LP is locked and the contract is immutable. It’s literally that easy.

Honestly, probably not unless you have the self discipline to 1. not spend too much (varies based on your personal income and risk tolerance) and 2. take profits early and often.
I give myself a ~$200/month budget to gamble with and I've lost far more than I've made. It's really just not worth it imo, money is better spent on low cap alts rather than shitcoins.
