Virtually every single response from Taiwan, was quick, detailed and intelligent and very helpful. Couldn't believe the difference in dealing with them over Microsoft / Apple, etc.in my career. Everytime we dealt with nvidia, they were the BEST at supporting us even though we were a small outfit.

Best designs, best customer service, they're so reliable you almost never have to RMA, in all that time I only had to once. It was in a gtx 760 SLI setup where one of the cards semi-broke, the setup still worked fine but one of the fans was stuck at 100% speed and it was annoying. They asked me to send both cards in when I mentioned they were SLI. They sent me back a brand new GTX 970. Apparently their idea of equivalent replacement to my setup given they had no 760s left... talk about going the extra mile. I miss them so much.

I remember when they leaked confidential information about TSMC's processes just to throw a public tantrum about how their new (at the time) 22nm node was "essentially worthless" you can Google that in quotes along with Nvidia and tsmc and likely find the article but like damn, that was childish behavior. I suppose it was in character for a company like Nvidia though. EVGA would have been better off with AMD or even Intel. Intel treats its board partners the best out of the whole 3 imo. AMD laid on the am4 support a little too thick for the board vendor's liking and having them do janky shit like make bios that support newer cpus but not older ones due to the limitations of the ROM capacity on some older boards. They also sold less than people making Intel boards obviously especially after Ryzen sales stopped giga spiking after AMD rugpulled their own price/performance dominance starting with Zen 3. Note I have no idea how they handle their Radeon partners but it's probably better than Nvidia and anyone making Arc is probably treated like royalty as Intel actually values their industry connections, often more than they even do their end customers.
