You guys didn't hear? Celsius' lawyers (Stretto) declared that anyone who withdrew over 100k from Celsius within 90 days of their bankruptcy back in 2022 has to return 27.5% of the fully withdrawn amount immediately. I withdrew $680k in that time so I have to put back in about $187k. I have a legal document from Celsius explaining the whole thing to me and it's threatening. The deadline was January 31st. These are called clawbacks and are legal in US bankruptcies. Essentailly they have threatened that since I didn't comply with their deadline, I need to return the full $680k now and they will continue to pursue this with their Litigation Administrator.

I did the math and obviously the amount they want back from me is far, far more than the amount they're holding hostage from me ($60k) so I haven't given them shit. Even if in theory they should return more than 27.5% back to me. In other words, they're supposed to give me most of my money back but I don't trust them enough to send over that large of an amount.

I've written it off at this point. BUT if they contact me again and actually follow up I will get a bankruptcy lawyer for real and finally settle this.

The "jew logic" is that any money withdrawn within 90 days of bankruptcy is still the property of the firm that went bankrupt. However, this only applies in practice to amounts over $100k.

So if you withdrew $99k, you're perfectly fine and get your bankruptcy proceedings (I think about 50% of the amount you lost + some stock in a new company?), but if you withdrew $101k in that time, you're fucked until you send them back 27.5% of that money or now they want the whole thing so you'd have to settle. The whole proceeding is fucked. I don't think about it much anymore.

No, but they also haven't followed up with their threats yet. There's a general class action suit for all the people affected by the clawbacks but I haven't heard anything from them. Basically just some fucking reddit-organized Telegram group I think, i.e., useless. Jew logic is annoying me at the moment with Bittrex. Right now they are closing down and apparently allowing people to withdraw their coins. The problem is they delisted my coin last year without me noticing. Ordinarily you have 30 days to withdraw a delisted coin before they charge you a $2.5k "recovery fee" (already bullshit, their terms and conditions say nothing about this except that they can remove your coins whenever they want and basically steal them which seems illegal). Anyway apparently because they're closing down and just processing withdrawals now they cannot do any coin "recoveries". So basically they had this coin listed for like 8 years and then delisted it a few months before closing down so I can't get it back.
