Sanctions don't really work because of globalization anymore. If anything they just hamfist the country placing them rather than the country it intends to hurt. Look at Russian oil and natgas. Basically just fucked our market up for a bit until a proxy to buy these exports started selling it to us under a premium. Russia didn't feel any pressure at all. Globalizationeans sanctions only hurt the sanctioner.
