>Thailand
The ol' standby. You can't really go wrong as they got everything there. Maybe not everyone's cup of Chang. Visas have been getting harder/more expensive but its still doable. I just wish the Thai girls weren't so fat. If you find a hot skinny one, it's probably a ladyboy.

I agree. My goal for this bull is to get to 100k. That's an optimistic goal, given I have 10k rn, investing 1k more every month. This money would make me not worry for housing ever again. I would just spend the rest of my days with my wife and (future) kids on the land I'd buy. I'd keep my comfy job that isn't the most amazing one, but I like it and it pays double the average salary. I literally can't wait for this to happen. Either this year, or in the next 3 years I will finally be able to do it.

It depends on where you live.. honestly, 500k in most of Asia and Eastern Europe is enough money to neet for the rest of your life if you do not live like a retard. But even if you live in the west, 500k is way way more than the average normie ever had. The truth is, and why I think a lot of people on /biz/ are retards, that even $100,000 in these countries can be enough to give you a comfortable life if you do not plan to spend the money but rather make the money your living, aka you use it to make more money, but also you can live on the returns. In the west it will be more but not that much.

I'm feeling like you.

My room is clean, and I'm healthy, but I live in an old apartment where I can't fully focus because I can hear the conversations of my neighbors or street noise. Also, I have to deal with violent scumbags/drug addicts living in the complex. That destroys my mental health, and recently I've found it harder to even start coding on my projects because of this.

I dream of living in the pic related minimum (1.25MM€) or in a single-family home. A property where I can have a relaxed, quiet, and safe life without having to deal with lowlifes.

If I go ahead with pic related right now, it would require me to pay a 24% tax when selling BTC, buy the property, and pay more taxes. After that, my BTC savings would be near zero. Another option could be to rent, but here, renting is hard if you don't have a regular wagie job.
