I assume at least half of the threads on /biz/ are someone trying to manipulate market sentiment. Probably most are literal AI bots at this point. The person or groups behind them might not even agree at all with the contents. A bear post could be from a bear trying to manufacture a panic or it could be a bull trying to convince noobs to take on high leverage shorts so they can hunt them.
