Am I on the right track, /biz/?

>start researching by reading websites and watching youtube videos
>open an account on one of these wallet/exchange sites
>sign up for a few sites like cryptopia, hitbtc, and poloniex
>continue researching while awaiting ID verification on wallet site
>going to begin by investing $750 fiat money into bitcoin, ripple, and etherium
>wait
>exchange btc for altcoins

I'm kind of unsure about the final steps, but I'm hoping I'm just on the right track. I've been investigating cryptocurrencies for a total of about five hours.
