If it was perfected by AI then how can /biz/ which lacks your ChatGTP use it?

you only would need tradingview to actually see it displayed on your chart, it can work with any asset on tradingview not only BTC

also if you wanted you could automatize it on bybit with Webhook Signal Trading

BTC had astronomic growth and the market shifted in ways more than one, backtesting on the full range to draw conclusions on the future performance is highly misleading, you aren't getting such numbers.

Anyway, a simple 5-50 SMA strategy on the full range of BTC allowing for 100% compounding lands you 2 mil %.

you would need to change back and forth from Heikin Ashi to standard candles to see exactly where the entrances and exit levels hit, since they are deceptive.

But using my strategy with a 10x leverage and 2.5% stop loss I was able to test consistently from 2020 to 2022 a 1.3 mil profit

your strat seems fine as well I admit, not as precise but good for holders

any advice for a retard like me to implement your trading strategy?
is there a guide explaining it? i'll try googling sma strategy in the meantime

Damn I'd be interested to hear a strategy that works with consistent leveraging, even with a stop loss of 2.5% you'd need absurd precision to make it profitable

It's one of the most basic trading strategies, you draw 2 moving averages, one is shorter, when shorter goes above the longer one you buy, when the opposite happens you short. Which combinations work best but I wouldn't recommend spending too much time on finding the very best one, that's gonna be overfitted and won't work in the future anyway. The most popular moving averages are simple ones like 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200. For intraday trading 5-20 is probably the best overall if I'd have to say blindly, but for daily candles definitely 5-50(the one I posted).

100, 200 moving averages are more useful if you're trading not on crossovers but simply on price going above/below the moving average.

Is there a way to communicate? I also use technical analysis with BTC futures on bybit. But my system should be more or less applicable to other markets

Nta I tried backtesting with 5-13 MAV on different period charts (5 m up to 4 h) and they all came out pretty horribly. I also added some RSI shenanigans just cause. Can't believe i wasted so much time when the answer was much simpler

doesn't that mean you will generally be buying pumps and selling dips?
I might just keep DCAing, I have terrible luck with swing trading
>>57819528
which strat came out horribly? the sma strat or a different strat? what was the simple answer you came up with?

I don't recommend trading on 5m, at all, and especially for trend-following strategies(like MAs). 1 min and 5 min are perhaps doable for mean regression strategies, not on crypto though, crypto futures have a way too steep a cost, and 5m markets generally are relatively 'flat'. Near all 5m MA-based strategies will incur catastrophic losses post-costs and wipe 100% of your account.

That said, trading on 5m candles is still doable with MAs(and these will combinations such as 5-50, 8-50 etc, all with 2 similar length ones as such 5-8 or 5-13 will fail miserably if executed upon strictly) but your angle there is that you want to catch a big trend early and once you want to stay in for a very long time. If you keep on executing strictly on reversals you'll just lose everything to fees.

>>57819671
>doesn't that mean you will generally be buying pumps and selling dips?
Well that's generally the weakness of trend-following trading strategies and you aren't eliminating that entirely no matter what, but with well calibrated MAs combinations the losses will be mitigated. The idea of trend-following strategies is that there will be a lot of these trades you get stopped out of etc(so called "false signals"), but once you catch a trend you're able to make a very fat profit from it.

So yeah, you will often be buying pumps and selling dips, but markets do actually trend in reality so with the well-calibrated strategy you will be able to make money on that.
