I use fidelity for both a personal 401k and an individual account that lets me gamble in obscure shitcoins like OTC miners and commodities. Something I think a lot of people sleep in is Acorns. You can round up your loose change into a 401k that basically just buys and reinvests any dividends from it back into VOO and other super basic shit. Paid 17k in taxes for for GME gains in 2021. This doesn't matter for breaking even, but it's a big part of the downtrend.
Gambled on shrooms and lost over 10k. Forgot what the company was even called.
Slurped a lot of "dips" on 3x tech ETF during super shemitah year.
Then I kind of gave up and just held until November last year. I've been trying to swing but I get too greedy hoping it dips more then sell way too early. I would probably be 15-20k in profit if I just held the stuff I bought in november.
