Any other 2017 early 2018 Link OG starting to get pretty demoralized? Its been 7 years, we've held for a fucking decade basically and we're still not in triple digits, its getting tiresome (for real this time not memeing)
>inb4 pools closed
I'm staking but link sitting on $20 after this long is still shitty for what it got going on, market is simply not reacting to it and the whales have to big a grasp of Sergeys balls to let it fly.

No. I'm way way more confident in the project now than 3 years ago when all these partnerships looked very shaky and ngl too good to be real.
Now we have Sergey talking at Sibos, doing fireside chats with CTO, CEO and CFOs of the biggest banks in the world, and they have had the biggest financial institutions of the world talk on their channel.

Anyone that is a serious linkmarine would never sell in a time like this. I think march will be a very interesting month

It’s brought me a lot of peace with selling everything this cycle before Q4 2025. If Doge and Shib are remotely close to Chainlink it’s the biggest tell imaginable that the market is completely fraudulent and will come crashing down hard again.

LINK would have to explode independently of everything sometime in the next year and a half for me to risk roundtripping. By holding you are assuming everyone else will hold as well and not panic sell at the end of a cycle when BTC comes crashing down. It’s taken me two cycles to realize how completely delusional that is. I’m going to make a few million and get the fuck out. If LINK explodes while I’m out of the market, all it means is that we were right all along and I can put a fucking million dollars back in and leave it there until I’m retired. Boo-hoo.

I staked 80% of my LINK in 2022 when the price was around $7. Right now LINK is sitting at +200% of what it was when I started staking, and on top of that I accrued a nice stack of Linkies in staking rewards. It's hard to feel truly demoralized at the moment desu senpai.

It is frustrating though to see LINK struggling with pumps and always retracing dutifully while dogshit left and right is allowed to pump 50% in a single day without having to retrace at all. But oh well, I'm used to it.

Indeed my fellow OG ICO Chainlinkers, I also am fearful, uncertain and doubtful of my investment and I will be shortly heading to the Binance cryptocurrency exchange to market sell all of my Chainlink (ticker: LINK) there because I've made such a bad investment and I urge every other OG ICO Chainlink (ticker: LINK) investor to do the same because I, an anonymous poster, care deeply about your financial well-being.

We've all held for so long, but in all honesty it's time to stop the cope and just market sell our Chainlink (ticker: LINK) tokens immediately. I'm just so tired. You tired too? Let's sell together

yes. demoralised. and what with ccip general release, coming in 2022, then 2023, then early (1q) 2024 and that's 4 weeks away and it's still not out.
staked some, didn't stake some, not selling any.
i said several months ago, before smartcon when speculation was that ccip was about to released, that if we go anywhere it will just be on the coattails of bitcoin.

and then there's the shills. worse than fuddies.
we haven't broken out of any range (link/btc) and so long as we are still ranging then we are always just one or two days of btc flash crashes away from going back down to 8 or 9 bucks.

i bought quite a lot in 2017 and 2018
obviously what they have achieved is incredible, from a literal two man team to working with swift in the open, banks, the dtcc with endless bullish comments, market dominance in price feeds
look back at 2017 and 2018, so many projects with high hopes are gone, no adoption, cratering price

the thing i'm actually most concerned about is the fud that the team is suppressing the price in some way to ensure it looks more stable, more palatable to bigger players. i think that is somewhat believable and doesn't bode well for the bull where it would be good to have a nice three digit run and for ogs to take some decent profit

i don't mind the delays with ccip, the HR salaries, the lack of build rewards etc, but if they have some backchannel with mms then that is a real fear
on one hand it is all about the tech as that's what sends us really high long term but we need to eat too, need a good blowoff top this bull

he's saying that he works for chainlink
that the ethereum dencun upgrade allows them to use the link token more effectively in some way (as the "universal gas token" presumably between the mainnet and the l2s, which is where most activity is) and that that ccip v1.2.0 allows this to happen
>Dencun will enable a new type of transaction class called “proto-danksharding,” which will help reduce the costs of transactions for rollups, through the introduction of data “blobs,” a new category for storing data.
it is likely a larp as all the info is publicly available

why worry now if you've already took on the cost of time? LINK is going to pump, and if you're not comfortable on the basically guaranteed gains that are coming with it, then risk some on shitcoins, too (with the acknowledgement that money left on the table may never come back). LINK outperformed basically everything besides a handful of shitcoin gambles like DOGE last run, so I don't get why you people get so worried (unless you're a fudcuck posting fake worries, which you probably are)
