what is the point of marrying and having children, there just seem to be so many cons compared to pros. also your kid might come out with down syndrome or some other crippling disorder and you're stuck with them for the rest of your life

If you're rich you can just send them to boarding school or something, also all the effort of raising them is all on the mother/nannies, that's basically the way Elon Musk has 10 kids.

they cant test for a lot of that stuff now before its born. The main reason for having children is that it instills purpose. You want to toil away your whole life so that all your earned riches/accumulated wealth end up in the hands of the state which in turn will just give it to Jamal? Become rich, live well, have children, instill in them a sense of responsibility and the ability to manage wealth, and have them do the same.
