It makes me rich

And every now and then on the right day.. when all starts and planets align, a MASSIVE news is dropped that causes chainlink to go up +3%

Holy shit! This must have sent LINK to $200!!!!! Let me check the price, I may be rich!!!!!!

Well Doge is pumping. So there's that.

same feeling but with Ada and Xrp

Imagine if ADA or XRP got that Ark integration.

the difference is that ADA and XRP aren't nearly as popular as LINK is here
there's only one XRP general thread and periodically a couple FUD threads, and you barely see ADA threads at all

>> No.57786675

>>57786574
>the difference is that ADA and XRP aren't nearly as popular as LINK is here
doesn't really matter since its clearly more popular in the crypto sphere (higher mcap)

>> No.57786717

>>57786675
but mcap is fake? this is your criteria of popularity? who has the highest fake numbers?

>>57786717
>this is your criteria of popularity? who has the highest fake numbers?
yup, links "real numbers" are underperforming my "fake number" crypto, how legitimate something is doesn't matter and won't matter for a few decades in this circus market

>> No.57786768

>>57786748
but you brought up a "higher mcap" so I'm assuming that you'd be satisfied if LINK had a higher mcap than those aforementioned shitcoins even if it still underperformed them
your criteria is retarded

>> No.57786804

>>57786768
In a lot of ways, it would make more sense if Link were rank 3 at $6 than rank 11 at $19.
Within the world of crypto, Link should be at the absolute tippy top regardless of total crypto valuation.

>> No.57786885

>>57786804
but rank based on mcap is fake?
I mean literally, it is nothing more than "current price set by exchanges x circulating supply as per CMC's API"
it's hilarious if you think about it

>> No.57786916

>>57786885
>but rank based on mcap is fake?
Well it is and it isn't.

>> No.57786938

>>57786916
it's completely fake though and I just demonstrated that
same goes for volume, dominance, etc
the only thing that is (((real))) is available liquidity on CEX order books

>> No.57786961

>>57786938
It's not fake in the sense that it simply reflects the total supply at the current market price.
It is fake in the sense that it would be practically impossible to actually liquidate the total supply at the current market price.

So it is and it isn't fake. Either way it's how the world at large (not just crypto) tends to value things. Musk, Bezos, ... are valued in this way as well.

>> No.57787020

>>57786961
>it simply reflects the total supply at the current market price
wrong, it accounts for the *circulating* supply, not total, which is even more hilariously flawed than what you described
for example, Sergey begun dumping immediately after LINK went crazy in June 2019, but CMC did not account for all those 700k supply dilutions for 1.5 years!

>> No.57787031

>>57787020
The market price doesn't apply to coins that you can't buy on the market.

holding that clusterfuck is like holding thin air, it's worthless, at least with regular EVMs you can mint or gamble NFTs with eesee

>>57787031
in theory
what I'm saying is that CMC's or CoinGecko's or Messari's interpretations of "circulating supplies" are hilariously wrong

No, in practice.

then BTC's mcap in practice is way, way higher than what is being reflected right now
