I'm not even trying to be mean. I think holding some PMs as an insurance against systemic risk makes sense, but I just can't wrap my head around why anyone would make it more than 10% of their portfolio or stack more than $20k worth of PMs and start building wealth in the real world in case the apocalypse you're waiting for never comes

Most the people on /pmg/ these days don't invest or have a diversified portfolio. I mean, there's a raging bull market in a number of sectors right now while metals continue to crab.
