I highly suspect all them extra IRS agents were in preparation for standardizing KYC/AML as well as on chain analysis. If 2017 was meant to get the funding to expand crypto, 2021 was to normalize it with meme coins, 2024 i suspect will be to control it via the bitcoin ETFs and laying claim to boomers retirement accounts. The rest of 2024 will be real interesting to watch unfold i think.
