>tfw just realized BTC is approaching its ATH (and already close to the first peak of the last bull cycle's double peak)
>not a single bit of hype in the mainstream media

What's the deal?

>> No.57747381

this is good, hype is a massive sell signal. hype means normie money flowing in and that's when we dump on them. Market makers well decide when to get normies hyped

You would've sold early like 99.9% of the OGs

This is likely true though. I almost certainly would have sold if it 5x or even 2x.
Didn't early wallets also get hacked very frequently?

Blackrock probably calling the shots. Reuters, AP and whomever got a call from the top jews and were told to keep it under wraps. I monitor this on the daily. When they open the gates to retail, shit is gonna get crazy. Lark Davis just tweeted same.

This is shaping up to be a great run, normies are not only demoralized and unaware, but also largely tapped out, while midwits think that's bearish in reality normies escaping the wage cage is the ultimate top signal as it forces the Fed's hand to "cool" the market (keep the wagie slaves on the plantation)

Yeah, what if I could time travel to myself at 18, tell myself to get a job at McDonald's to buy Amazon and Microsoft shares in 2001 I'd be a millionaire. But that didn't happen and it would have never happen given the circumstances, so what's the point of wishful thinking of the past.

to hold that long means you had to take them off one of the many exchanges which randomly shut down without warning, onto a hardware wallet that isn't compromised, saved your seed phrase for 15 years on a piece of paper, hold through many many dumps, and then put ALL of it on an exchange and sold and then get taxed 70%.

retail only starts to get interested after we break ath

"oh it wasnt a scam afterall? i thought i remember the tv telling me it was going to 0"

once it goes up, then obviously its a good investment. bad investments go down, and good investments go up

>> No.57748431

>>57747517
There won't be interest until it breaks ATH. Norman's will unironically buy in after 100k.

You wouldn't have buyed. I remember a scam on /v/ back around then that took some anons' money, including some bitcoins for a minecraft server. Point being everyone on this site new about it but few were even interested. It was just some goofy /g/ meme.

I remember seeing a thread on /g/ talking about using your laptop to mine bitcoin. I think it was 2010ish.
Then I remember reading about the double top in a magazine back in 2013.

My first crypto buy was in 2021

Okay but where does it end. I was hoping we'd hit like $222,000 this cycle. Can retail really pump our bags that much more?

It means we're hitting 100k in 6 months then when you see the normies talking about "$1 million per btc" sell and wait for next cycle you know the drill by now.

Also it's good time to reevaluate how safe your keys are from AI-powered social engineering or other creative forms of hacking. Shit is about to get wild and you'll want your stack to help ride it out.

I have a wallet on an iPod touch that's dead in my drawer. I have the first Trezor as well. I obviously wouldn't sell at once and get taxed up the ass. Bitcoin is being adopted for regular use for large transactions and "backed" via ETF. It will at minimum, retain it's value, dipping moderately until the next halvening. I would sell enough at each pre half high to last me until the next one.

most of the legacy the media talking heads have lost their jobs or have been recently afraid that they will lose their jobs? they are busy pissing and shitting themselves about trump and ukraine? who cares. imagine thinking they are some kind of indicator of any kind bear or bull.
