i grew up in this area, it's lower nob hill. It's probably one of the safest areas in SF. it's near the dead center of SF with walking distances in all direction, right next to multiple public transit lines. The area is mostly white / asian. There is the Fairemont hotel about 4 blocks away. The best hotel in the entire city. Whenever biden/any presidents visits , they ALWAYS stay at that hotel. and the entire block is fenced off and surrounded by cops. There's constant cop patrols in this area due to the money that lives here. There's a huge historical building, multiple hotels, high rise condos, and a massive church / private school.

99% of houses in sf have bars on windows. Just how it is unfortunately. Even the top of the Nob hill has bars and rails. Gotta guard your resources

the rooftop is private. I walked in and toured it. The bottom unit doesn't have access to the roof only the top tenant. 2 tenant building with a shared garage. the roof is a pretty ncie selling point since it's sort of like a backyard patio with a beautiful view
