I have been given an awesome opportunity at my company. The workers will be striking, if I betray my union brothers, I will be promoted to a first level manager. Six figures starting. Do I do it? What are the economic implications of making an enemy of the union.

Unless you are positive you will be part of the ruling elite in your life time, going against unions is going against your interest.

depends on the union and where you live, but you can expect anything from verbal abuse/shunning on the low end (spat on, coworkers will all hate you) to violent assault and property damage on the high end (they will beat the shit out of you if you try and cross the picket line, they will come to your house and slash the tires on your car and break your windows). You have to get an idea of what the repercussions are and then judge for yourself if it is worth it or not.

if you are unscrupulous I would just pick whatever side you think is going to win the battle because at the end of the day the six figures means nothing if the company capitulates, you will get labelled a scab and probably fired or demoted for standing with management and blacklisted from any union work

if you want to make the morally correct decision just side with whoever you personally think is in the right concerning the dispute, don't listen to anyone from either side just make your own choice
