Newfag here still on 5 figures purgatory after 1 year of not making it due to being a fence sitter (missed many /biz/ moonshots and losing to some rugs like spyro $8k on this one)
is it true that almost every shitcoin can pump to 50 or even $100mil mc
same with alts reaching 500m or $1B mc?

Not counting obvious dogshit scams but memecoins/alts with good narratives

I'm going to be honest here anon... Just play it safe, don't chase "moonshots"... Pick coins that you KNOW will be ok... You'll make it if you're patient while being RISK AVERSE. Time in the market beats timing the market.

Currently there are a few OBVIOUS winners for this bull run. The AI sector and the DePIN sector are the two sectors which will probably dominate this cycle more or less. Don't try and chase stupid small cap pump and dumps. Just buy the "big coins" which all mostly already "pumped"... Getting a x10 from here IS NOT A BAD DEAL. If you have 100k$ a x10 is 1m$... 1m$ is more than enough to set you up for the next bull run. Then just repeat the same thing in the next bull run. Be RISK AVERSE, don't chase pumps and moon shots, rather be late on trends then early. The trend needs to be really obvious before you put your money into it.

I doubt this will happen as previously those who bought btc and then cycled through alts.
This time institutions are buying btc through ETFs so they wont all be cycling through lower cap alts, as regulations dont currently exist for large funds to buy alts and alts have too small volume to make it worth institutionally investing.
What's far more likely is a revaluation of the markets and a genuine culling of deadweight shitcoins.
Only those with actual revenue or genuine utility for their protocols will exponentially grow but then also sustain themselves after they inevitably crash in the bear market.

Only alts with revenue or genuine utility attached to protocols that are adopted, will survive a revaluation of the alt market.
Narrative will be very important.
eg given growing tech censorship there is demand for a social media protocol that is opensource, free to use, actually p2p (with no centralized dns), scalable and resistant. This is what plebbit is at a 3.5m mcap. As a result, plebbit may be one of those tokens which have a sufficient narrative to exponentially grow.

no, last bullrun was an anomaly and will never repeat. every shitcoin can go to 0 and begin that descent the second you buy it. if you cant figure out how to buy before other people, then dont touch shitcoins you're going to get rekt. simply buy btc/eth/rlb

also curate a list of twitters that share alpha. when you see a coin performing well, simply check recent tweets for the $tag and see who shared the alpha BEFORE it pumped. good actors will shill before the pump, bad actors will only shill after the pump
