I bought 13 BTC cost averaging from 2013-2015 so not a great deal of USD investment to begin with:
>lost about 5 BTC in scams/altcoins and ICOs in 14-15
>lost 1 on cloud mining scam
>lost another 1 on p2p lending defaults
>lost about 3 on leverage trading on bitmex in 16
>bought alts with another 2 BTC
>got "good" at trading and spent the next 3 years growing my last 1 BTC to 5 BTC from 17-19 daytrading then blew up my account on april fools day 19 and lost all of that (never withdrew or took profit)
>old alts shriveled to 1k USD or something, massively under performed
>19-now started over started following a good system
>22 started doing stat analysis/backtesting everything
>23 became consistent from about q2
Only saving grace for me losing 10 years of my life for nothing was that I was very good at shilling BTC and crypto to my friends and family, I got majority of the people I knew in and they all bought and held and did great from it.

I liquidated all my BCH and turned it back into BTC straight away, same with the other forks. I remember making 0.2 BTC on yobit from depositing 2 BTC on there and getting a made up segwit token airdropped to me that I instantly dumped but I freaked out about how they'd let me print like that so easily so pulled out of yobit on the DOGE network, funnily enough if I'd had held that DOGE for 2 weeks i'd have gone straight to 6fig as it pumped (this was nov/dec 17). As for the newer alts/airdrops I got burnt so much I never really fucked with them a lot.

As a 42 year old with negative net worth cause of student loans and credit card debt. Let me tell you something kids. Money is fucking great. It would have solved most of my problems if I had it when I was young. But it doesn't solve everything. Your only problem is your biggest problem. So after money solves all the problems it can you are still left with very big problems. Quick example. How much you eat and exercise. Money can help buy you equipment, doctors, medicine. But you gotta put the time and effort into it. Can't hire someone to do it, they can only assist. That pain asking a girl out and she says no. Money can't help you with that.

I bought my first BTC using the Virwox method and sending the BTC to BTC-E (luckily I was out of there by the time FBI shut them down and stole everyone's coins) the total fees to do that were about 16% lol.
I don't know what you mean by "ygmi by the time youre 30", I'm 32 but I am sort of doing pretty well with my trading ever since I started following backtested results/stat analysis so maybe over the next few years I'll redeem.

Same age? He's saying those were the years, "14-15" means 2014-2015. He's 32 now which means he was 22 when he got first got into crypto and lost it all through his mid-late 20s. He wasn't a teenager, just as delusional as one.

Data mining posters work for evil. What did you want to do when you were 7? Did you think you would literally be evil and work for evil companies who think other people's money is theirs bit they just don't know it yet?
Is that how you thought your life would play out?
Get a job, loser. Factory work isn't that bad you fucking coward.

This. What you do is go all in ETH, bridge it to zk sync and lend it out on Fringe fi so you become eligible for frin, pyth, arb rewards as well as the zk sync airdrop.

You will make between 50 to a 100k on the airdrop and rewards alone, but you'll also get ETH upside during the bullrun + generated interest. Eth will 5 to 10x from here. You can be a multi millionaire by 2025. If you're willing to take the "risk". You could also do nothing, wallow in misery and never own a house I suppose.

most people your age are drowning in cc debt, pay a $700/MO car payment and can't even dream of buying a home anymore. Don't worry about the Joneses and certainly don't worry about the fake narrative here, you're doing pretty good. Get your cash to doing something though
