/biz/ is full of retards and crypto shills with bad advice all around. if you have no idea what you're doing, stay away from crypto and stocks. go for index funds and spread it. me for example, I do a 33/33/33 national / american / global index funds. It's very hard to go wrong with this, just see it long term and don't commit money you'll need in the coming 1-2 years.

On the other hand, if you know what you're doing, you most likely still want to go index funds. crypto is for degenerate gambling.
