we grew up on weird ass cartoons and internet memes. It is no wonder the only thing that interests us is memecoins.

The disparity between the retail trader and the algorithmic market maker got too wide, so too much of retail got rinsed.
You need a certain proportion of retail making it to create fomo. When it's literally just insiders scamming degens then there are no "I could make it too" stories for fomoers to latch on to.
In their short sightedness and greed, the insiders completely undermined the ability for broader fomo to grow.
