retail is apparently broke.
institutional money is pouring in and they're interested in infrastructure projects. The graph is one of them.
If it were the other way around (apathetic institutions, hyped retail), I'd probably fade GRT since old tokens are simply not interesting to retail, but i'm honestly bullish on GRT this cycle.
>"infra" pump
>"AI" pump
>Horizon
Horizon obviously won't be functional anytime soon. It seems like a multi-year roadmap. But the hype of new data services within the graph could pump the price.
>ETH historical data
EIP 4844 goes live next month. Disk space requirements will blow up (~2.5TB per year, and later with full sharding -- 40 TB per year), which will require history pruning (EIP-4444). That's where the graph comes in. Indexers will store historical data. A new use case is bullish for GRT

2 months ago I had trouble finding delegated tokens via the graph website. I asked for assistance in the forum, and was given a link for graph support, along with a supposed support ticket number. The only thing I gave the support person was my metamask ether address. They were difficult and couldn't fix anything so I just ended the chat. Then two weeks later it looks like all of my GRT were drained from my wallet, to this address: 0xc944e90c64b2c07662a292be6244bdf05cda44a7 which then transferred to 0x79e066fb2a2912afd06bc833b0a8cb62fd77ea1ab70a5dc08ea2cc94468315e4 and then eventually to Mexc.com . I have no clue how this was achieved or what recourse I have. I have to say the security and general lack of support with thegraph is pathetic, and they should have moderated their forums which security and safety in mind.

The least you can do is report it on etherscan (with proof of scamming/phishing) to get the address flagged. You're not getting your funds back. And yes, you probably talked to a scammer. There are many who impersonate support staff. There is not support ticket system. All the help happens in the public channels. If you want to take it private, it's you who should DM staff first.
