Literally my mother and stepfather were just showing me how they were humming a song from deep purple back in the day for like 1-2 seconds and the new youtube AI pulled up a video of said song. It was the middle of a lengthy guitar solo too, I thought it wouldn't be possible since Shazam isn't able to do it but I guess not. Makes me think of PRISM and how so many people are spied on that maybe the NSA can scan through so much data and find anything they want if this little ai can guess a song based off a little hum. Personally I considered that it might be reading our minds because it's just so unbelievable.

Yes the NSA is tracking everyone on the planet, AND they can see everyone's crimes basically in real time.
The ONLY thing that keeps you (You) from being charged with your crimes is that there's no benefit to the system from removing you as a producer/consumer/status-quo-enjoyer. If at some point, the powers that be decide to remove you from the system, they can do so with minimal effort at the level of spying on you.
The effort comes from two factors: limited numbers of humans working at the NSA who can put the case against you together and communicate it to other humans, and the court system has a lengthy backlog already which adds friction to the process of putting you in jail.
Michael Hastings was a journalist who ruined a general's career and made Obama look bad for his Afghanistan strategy, and he was murdered for it.

There are steps you can take to protect yourself:
-make it harder to spy on you (think Snowden and Stallman)
-know your civil rights and how to deal with law enforcement
-never ever admit to criminal activity, even as a joke, even in private
-be prepared to flee at any time: keep a bugout bag and a solid plan to get across the two nearest national borders (at least)

It’s not that they’re too overstretched or whatever, it’s that they want to control what choices you will make. Finding and prosecuting crimes is for the little people without large central planning AI’s that can influence your actions and reactions, they are more concerned about figuring out how to make you take the choices they want you to take. I'ts not direct profiting but, Truflation have some interesting AI tools based on algorithmics protocols that study current stock markets and commodities and offer certain predictions based on your preferences.
Parting from there you'd be able to set up a strategy or a course of action.

A REALLY niche one, and 1 minute later, when I tried to check something on App Store, which was completely unrelated, an app in recommendation section came up. It’s the EXACT NICHE that I was talking about.
I didn’t search about it, I didn’t read about it, it really was confined to my own brain, until I told my brother.
